If there is a list of swimming pools you must try before dying, I would select three places.

The first one is in Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, obviously. Its swimming pool  was often visited by Clark Gable and Ava Gardner, among others celebrities, artists and politics. That´s the magic of this place and will make you feel one of them.

The other one is in Mamounia, a legend hotel in Marrakesh. This is the place to be. Actually this is not a hotel, is a Palace. The swimming pool was settled in the middle of eight hectares gardens. Hitchcock loved that place and shot one of his best movies: The Man Who Knew Too Much. Another frequent guest was Churchill whose name was given to one of the hotel´s bars.

Finally, the 3rd one is Ciragan Palace, in Istanbul. Have you ever imagined swimming with the view of the Bosphorus and pretended you were one of the Ottomans Sultans? The hotel – and the swimming pool, of course – was built in the garden of one ancient Ottoman Palace named Ciragan.
